Date Harvesting

Description

Enjoy this classic, seasonal event at Heenat Salma Farm, meant to put you back in touch with nature and the annual process of date harvesting.  

The event will include a special selection of dishes, complemented by a variety of refreshing drinks and tempting desserts. Inside the cozy confines of the majlis, you can take in the environment around you before the real fun begins. 

You will then explore the farm, learning about the process of sheep milking and the art of palm weaving, taught by our skilled farmers and artisans.  

And of course, you will experience the date harvesting practices through real examples provided by our talented agricultural staff.  

We’ll end the day under the shade of majestic palm trees, where you can relax and enjoy the company of fellow guests. You and your loved ones can sip beverages and taste the sweetness of dates in a whole new light.

As a token of our appreciation, each guest will receive a gift of 1kg of dates, symbolising our desire to share the richness of our land with you.

Event Program

15:00 pm: Guests Arrival to Majlis with welcome drinks

15:15-16:00 pm: Special Menu served with drinks and desserts inside Majlis area.

16:15-18:00 pm:

• Sheep milking

• Sitting under the palm trees with drinks and dates.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

• Full refund if a cancellation request is received more than 12 hours prior to the class time. 
• No refund if a cancellation request is received less than 12 hours prior to the class time.
• We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a class in our sole discretion. If we cancel or postpone a class, we will use reasonable efforts to reschedule the cancelled or postponed class to within the coming weeks from its original date.
  
• In the event we do not reschedule the cancelled class, registrant will be offered a refund or a voucher for the same value or above. If this occurs, our responsibility is limited to a refund of any fee(s) already paid.
  
• Please allow thirty (30) days for us to process any refunds or credit changes.
